Installing Between 2 Fixed Points
Start by measuring the total space you have available to work with and write this down so you can refer back to it.
Start by roughly working out the amount of standard sizes panels you might need. Remember these are 1830mm as standard.
Example
An overall space of 8000mm with the fencing fixed to a wall at both ends would need 4 full panels and one made to measure section.
8000mm (overall space) – 7320mm (size of 4 standard metal fence panels) – 200mm (size of 4 x 50mm posts) = 480mm
So in this instance you would need to order as follows
Installing Between No Fixed Points
The process is the same as above however you will also need to allow for additional posts at each end to provide a fixing point.
Example
A 8000mm overall space with the fencing fixed to posts at both ends would need 4 full panels and one made to measure section.
8000mm (overall space) – 7320mm (size of 4 standard metal fence panels) – 300mm (size of 6 x 50mm posts) = 380mm
So in this instance you would need to order as follows;
