The Royale Talisman Wrought Iron Style Double Metal Driveway Gates are handcrafted in the UK using high-quality components to assure strength, stiffness, and unrivalled overall beauty. These gorgeous wrought iron style double gates are ideal for any home driveway entrance or other location where a wide opening has to be protected. They are made with heavy-duty 40mm x 30mm hanging stiles, 40mm x 10mm closing stiles and cross rails, and 16mm solid metal infill bars meaning they will provide great levels of security at a price you can afford. A double row of fleur-de-lys finials is fitted to the top and middle of each gate to boost its visual appeal. Circular scrollwork is added to the design to complete the aesthetic. The Talisman design is available in various standard sizes and is supplied primed black (undercoat), ready to be painted before installation. They also include surface mounted adjustable hinges that can be mounted directly to existing brickwork, masonry structures, and timber or metal posts. The gates also contain an easy-to-use latch mechanism and an in-ground drop bolt to keep the gates together when closed.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between existing walls or posts. This measurement will be the size you need to order. Our "fits opening" width in the menu already includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch, so no further allowances are required.

• Height: The "fitted height" relates to the height of the gates once they have been installed (allowing for 50mm of ground clearance) and is measured from the ground to the top of the horizontal framework. The finials above this are not included within this measurement. 

Example

If the distance between existing brickwork is 14ft, the gates should be ordered to "fit opening 14ft."

Do you Need to Install Posts? 

Metal posts will need to be installed if there isn't an appropriate support structure to connect the hinges and latch; therefore, keep in mind that you'll need more space to accommodate these items.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 14ft combined with 2 x 6" posts will require a total overall space of 15ft.
