For your convenience, the double gates include surface-mounted hinges, a latch, and a drop bolt as standard, enabling them to be attached directly to existing masonry or fixed to metal or timber posts.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: To select the correct size to order, measure the width of your existing opening using a tape measure. You should then choose a size matching this measurement from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. You do not need to make additional calculations for the hinges and latch, as these components are already included in the "fit opening" measurement.

• Height: The "fitted height" measurement incorporates an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance and is taken from floor level to the top of the uppermost horizontal rail. The finials above this point are not included in the measurement.

Ordering Example

If the gap between your walls measures 10ft 6", you must order gates to fit an opening of 10ft 6".

Will you Need Metal Posts?

If you need to add metal posts, you must ensure the additional space required for these components is accounted for.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 10ft 6" combined with 2 x 4" posts will require a total overall space of 11ft 2".
