The Hampton Arched Wrought Iron Style Metal Estate Gates will provide property owners with a stylish and practical means of safeguarding the main vehicle entrance onto their driveway. Handmade in the UK to a high standard, these superb value double metal gates are built to last. They feature a fully welded 25mm box section framework for excellent levels of rigidity, 16mm tube metal infill bars and a double row of finials to generate enhanced aesthetic appeal. Available to fit opening sizes between 8ft and 12ft, they come with surface-mounted adjustable hinges, a latch and a ground drop bolt as standard. You can mount them directly to any suitable masonry surface, or, for freestanding installation, they can be attached to metal posts.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: We have already included the space needed for the hinges and latch in the "fits opening" measurements provided in the drop-down menu. Consequently, this means that you should measure the distance between your existing supports and then select a size from our menu that corresponds to that measurement taken. You should avoid additional allowances or tolerances because this will result in ordering errors.

• Height: The "height once fitted" includes an allowance of 50mm (2"") for ground clearance. This measurement is taken from ground level to the top of the framework. The finials mounted on the arched top rail are not included within this dimension.

Ordering Example

If the size of the aperture between brick pillars measures 3350mm, you should order the gates that state "fits opening 3350mm".

Do you Need Metal Posts?

Additional space will be needed if you require posts to support the hinges.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 3350mm hinged using 2 x 150mm posts will require a total overall space of 3550mm".
