The Windsor Wrought Iron Style Double Metal Driveway Gates are available to buy online in sizes to suit many opening widths up to 12ft. They incorporate a fully welded box section framework to ensure superior levels of strength combined with decorative features such as ornamental scrollwork, spiral infill bars and fleur de lys finials. To ensure ease of installation, these great-value double metal gates include surface-mounted hinges, a latch, and a drop bolt, enabling you to mount them directly to any appropriate surface, such as masonry, brickwork, timber or metal posts.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: To select the correct size to order, measure the width of your existing opening using a tape measure. You should then select a size matching this measurement from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Please note that you do not need to make any additional calculations for the hinges and latch, as these components are already incorporated in the "fits opening" measurement.

• Height: The "fitted height" measurement includes a 50mm (2") allowance for ground clearance. This measurement is taken from the floor level to the top of the uppermost horizontal rail but excludes any finials and scrollwork located above this point.

Example

If the distance measured between your walls or existing posts is 3660mm (12ft), you should order the gates listed to "fit opening 3660mm (12ft)".

Do you Need to Install Posts? 

If supporting walls or pillars are not present, you will need to install metal posts, and as a result, additional space will be required.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 3660mm combined with 2 x 100mm posts will require a total overall space of 3860mm.
