The Royale Monarch Wrought Iron Style Double Metal Driveway Gates are a premium quality option and should not be compared to cheaper alternatives. Fabricated using heavy duty solid steel components, these traditionally designed double gates are available to buy online in a range of sizes to suit many common driveway opening sizes and will provide excellent security and privacy benefits without compromising on the aesthetic appeal of your home. They feature 40mm x 30mm hanging stiles, 40mm x 20mm closing stiles, 40mm x 10mm cross rails, and 16mm infill bars. To help level the gates when you install them, they include surface-mounted adjustable hinges, and to ensure the gates remain secure, include a padlockable latch mechanism and in-ground drop bolt as standard.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: To select the correct size to order, measure the width of your existing opening using a tape measure. You should then select a size matching this measurement from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Please note that you do not need to make any additional calculations for the hinges and latch, as these components are already incorporated in the "fits opening" measurement.

• Height: The "fitted height" includes an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance but does not include the finials and scrolls mounted above the top horizontal rail. 

Ordering Example

If the span between your walls measures 11ft, you should order the gates to "fit an opening of 11ft".

Do you Need Metal Posts?

You must purchase metal posts for freestanding installations or projects with no suitable support structure present. When adding these items, please remember that extra space will be needed.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 11ft attached to 2 x 6" posts will require a total overall space of 12ft.
