Suitable for many residential locations, the Royale Monarch design benefits from 40mm x 30mm hanging stiles, 40mm x 20mm closing stiles, 40mm x 20mm cross rails, and 16mm infill bars. These elements create a strong framework capable of spanning openings up to 16ft a standard. To ensure ease of installation, each pair of gates comes with surface-mounted adjustable hinges for easy levelling during installation, ensuring they can sit perfectly level and remain functional. In addition, they include a latch mechanism that you can fasten with a padlock, adding another layer of security to your property. Furthermore, the in-ground drop bolt holds the gates in the correct position when closed, ensuring that they do not move or sway, keeping your property secure at all times.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the distance between the existing brick walls or support structure. Once this dimension has been determined, you should match this measurement with one of the width options in the drop-down menu. There is no need to make other allowances for the hinges and latch fitting as these are already included with the "fits opening" sizes.

• Height: The "height once fitted" includes an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance. The finials and scrolls mounted above the top horizontal rail of the framework are not contained within this measurement.

Ordering Example

If the space between walls is 14ft, you should order the gates to "fit an opening of 14ft".

Do you Need Metal Posts?

You will need to purchase metal posts for freestanding installations where no existing support structure is in place. Appropriate size posts can be selected from the options and accessories menu above if necessary. When doing so, it is essential to remember that you will require additional space for these components.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 14ft combined with 2 x 6" posts will require a total overall space of 15ft.
