Suitable for any residential location where restricted access will prove beneficial, these stunning double metal gates will offer privacy and security at an incredibly competitive price. Available to buy online to suit a range of driveway entrances ranging from 8ft up to 16ft, the gates include surface mounted adjustable hinges, a latch mechanism and drop bolt making them ideal for DIY installations. With a heavy-duty solid steel construction consisting of 40mm x 30mm hanging stiles, 40mm x 20mm closing stiles and cross rails and 16mm solid metal infill bars they are incredibly strong and rigid meaning they are more than capable of withstanding the rigours of regular use. For improved visual appeal, decorative wrought iron style elements are included such as fleur de lys finials and cage infill bars. Supplied primed black as standard, it is essential that all metal surfaces are painted with a minimum of 2 coats of exterior grade paint prior to installation to ensure maximum levels of protection against rust and corrosion.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: The "fits opening" measurements displayed in the drop-down menu already includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch. You should therefore measure the gap between existing masonry supports then find a size within our options that matches this measurement. Do not perform any other calculations as this will lead to ordering errors.

• Height: The “height once fitted” includes an allowance of 50mm (2”) for ground clearance and is measured from the floor to the top of the horizontal frame. The finials above are not included within this measurement.

Ordering Example

If the size of the opening between brick pillars measures 10ft 6” you should order the gates to "fit an opening" of 10ft 6”.

Do you Need to Install Metal Posts?

If these items are required, you should select the appropriate size posts from the options and accessories menu shown above. When doing so you should bear in mind that additional space will be necessary.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 4270mm combined with 2 x 150mm posts will require a total overall space of 4570mm.
