Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the distance between existing walls or posts. This measurement will be the size you need to order. There is no need for you to perform any further calculations because our "fits opening" measurement already includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch.

• Height: We suggest leaving 50mm (2") for ground clearance when installing your new gates.

Example

If the opening width between the walls is 3658mm (12ft), choose the gates that "fits opening" 3658mm (12ft).

Are Metal Posts Needed? 

Carefully choose from the options and accessories menu if you need to add posts owing to a lack of existing structural support. Please keep in mind that you will need more space if you choose these products.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 3658mm combined with 2 x 70mm posts will require a total overall space of 3798mm.
