The Balmoral driveway gates are accentuated with a double row of spear-shaped finials and classic wrought iron style circular scrolls for added aesthetic appeal. They are constructed with 40mm x 10mm solid bar frames and 16mm infill bars. The gates are supplied primed black as standard and must be painted before installation to safeguard against rust and corrosion. Surface-mounted adjustable hinges suited for installation directly to existing brickwork, masonry buildings, or metal posts are included as standard. Furthermore, a simple latch mechanism and in-ground drop bolt are also provided to guarantee the gates remain in the correct position when closed.

• Width: Measure the distance between the walls or existing posts. This is the width that you will need to order. There is no need to make any further adjustments because the "fits opening" dimension displayed in the drop-down box includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The height indicated above does not account for ground clearance. We suggest leaving 50mm (2") of space between the floor and the underside of the gates when installing the product.

Example

If the gap size between walls or existing posts is 2743mm (9ft), you should order the gates to "fit opening 2743mm (9ft).

Do you Need to Install Posts? 

If metal posts are required (due to the lack of supporting walls or pillars), you will need to ensure that additional space is available.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2743mm combined with 2 x 100mm posts will require a total overall space of 2943mm.
