The Balmoral Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate features our highest specification of steel to ensure an aesthetic appeal of a by-gone era, making it the ideal choice for prestigious properties or outdoor locations that need to retain a traditional appearance. Handmade in the UK to an industry-leading standard, the gate features a strong and rigid 40mm x 10mm thick frame, 16mm round infill bars, a double row of spear-shaped finials and circular wrought iron style decorative elements. Available to order online in a choice of widths to suit popular gap sizes, the Balmoral design is supplied as standard with heavy-duty adjustable hinges, a latch fitting complete with receiver plate and a black primer (undercoat) surface ready for painting to the colour of your choice prior to installation.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between the walls or existing posts. This measurement will be the width you need to order. You do not need to make any further allowances as the "fits opening" measurement shown in the drop-down menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The height shown above does not include any allowance for ground clearance. When installing the product, we recommend you allow 50mm (2") space between the floor and the underside of the gate.

Example

If the space between walls or existing posts is 1067mm (3ft 6"), you will need to order a gate that "fits opening" of 1067mm (3ft 6").

Do You Need Metal Gate Posts?

If metal posts are required, you will need additional space for these items, so please make sure this is factored in when placing your order.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 1067mm combined with 2 x 70mm posts will need an overall space of 1207mm.
