• Solid steel construction.

• 25mm x 6mm frames.

• 10mm solid metal infill bars to provide rigidity.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between the walls or posts. This measurement will be the ordering size. You do not need to make further calculations as our "fits opening" measurement already includes the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: You will need to allow 50mm (2") for ground clearance when installing the gate.

Example

Where the gap between walls/posts is 914mm (3ft) you should order a gate to "fit opening 914mm (3ft)".

Do You Need Metal Gates Posts?

If you need to install metal posts to provide a suitable means of hanging or latching the gate, it is important to remember that you will require additional space for these items.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 914mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 1014mm.
