• Width: The "fits opening" size you select should match the space between the walls or existing posts. The "fits opening" measurement in the menu already accounts for the space needed for hinges and latch, so no additional allowances are necessary. See the example below for clarification.

• Height: The "fitted height" of the Regency Driveway Gates refers to the height after installation and includes a 50mm (2") clearance provision from the ground to the top of the horizontal framework. This measurement does not include the upper scrollwork above this.

Example

If the distance between your pillars measures 3050mm, you must select the option "fits opening 3050mm" from the drop-down menu.

Do You Need to Install Metal Posts?

You will need to use metal posts without an existing support structure to mount the hinges. However, it's important to remember that these elements will require additional space, so please factor this in when planning the installation.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 3050mm combined with 2 x 80mm posts will require a total overall space of 3210mm.
