Ordering Sizes

• Width: The "fits opening" size displayed in the drop-down menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch. For further clarification, refer to the example below.

• Height: The "fitted height" already includes an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance. This measurement is taken from ground level to the top of the horizontal frame. The top scroll is not included in this measurement.

Example

If the width of your opening between your brick walls measures 760mm, you should select a gate that "fits an opening of 760mm".

Do You Need to Install Metal Gate Posts? 

If you need to install metal posts, you must factor in the extra space required for these components.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 760mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 860mm.
