It features a robust 20mm x 8mm flat bar steel framework (20mm x 8mm), elegant 10mm x 3mm ornate scrolls and 10mm metal infill bars. A pair of surface-mounted hinges and a universal latch mechanism are included to enable easy DIY installation, allowing for fitting onto various surfaces, such as brick, wood, or metal posts.

• 20mm x 8mm solid flat bar metal frames, 10mm round infill bars and 10mm x 3mm wrought iron style scrolls.

• It is supplied with adjustable hinges and a universal latch.

• Suitable for left or right-hand hanging.

• Primed Black (undercoat).

Ordering Sizes

• Width: To determine the correct width, measure the distance between your walls or existing posts. This measurement will be the dimension you need to order. Our "fits opening" size displayed in the menu above already includes the required space for the hinges and latch so there is no need for additional calculations to be made.

• Height: The "fitted height" refers to the installed gate height, with an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance. The measurement starts from ground level and goes up to the top of the horizontal frame. Please note that the top scrollwork is not included in this height dimension.

Example

If your brickwork opening size measures 1070mm (3ft 6"), you should select a gate that "fits opening" 1070mm (3ft 6").

Considering Metal Posts?

If your project includes the installation of metal gate posts, remember that these components will need additional space.

Example: If you are fitting a garden gate for a 1070mm opening, together with 2 x 50mm posts, you will require a total space of 1170mm.
