The Buckingham 6ft High Estate Gates are affordable, stylish, practical and will help to enhance privacy and security at the driveway entrance. Fabricated by hand in the UK from solid steel components, this traditional double gate design features a welded 20mm x 8mm steel framework, 10mm round metal infill bars and 10mm x 3mm ornamental scrolls. They are available to buy online in various sizes and include surface-mounted hinges for easy DIY installation.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between the walls or existing posts to calculate the size of the aperture. This measurement will then be the size you need to order. You do not need to make any allowance for the space required for the hinges and latch, as these are already incorporated into the "fits opening" measurement.

• Height: The "fitted height" is the height after being installed. This measurement includes a ground clearance allowance of 50mm (2") and is taken from ground level to the top of the horizontal framework. Please note that this measurement does not include the scrollwork mounted above the top horizontal rail.

Ordering Example

If the gap between the brick pillars measures 2740mm, order gates displayed in the menu as "fits opening: 2740mm".

Will you Require Metal Posts?

For installation purposes, if you order metal posts, it is important to note that additional space will be required.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2740mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will require a total overall space of 2840mm.
