Ordering Sizes

• Width: To find the ordering size, measure the distance between your walls or posts. You do not need to make additional adjustments as the "fits opening" dimension displayed in the drop-down menu already incorporates the required space for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "Height (once fitted)" measurement is taken from the ground to the top of the horizontal framework. This measurement already includes a 50mm (2") allowance for ground clearance. Please note the decorative scrollwork on the top of the gate is not included within this height.

Example

If the distance between your brickwork is 1070mm, you should order a gate corresponding to "fits opening 1070mm".

Do You Need Posts for the Gate Installation?

On occasion, you may need metal posts to install your gate. In these instances, you will need to ensure that you have enough space for these components.

Example: If you have a gate to fit an opening of 1070mm and you add 2 x 50mm posts, the total space you'll need is 1170mm.
