The Clifton Arched Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate has a traditional design making it suitable for a range of pedestrian entrances around your property. Available to buy online in a choice of sizes, the gate features an attractive curved top, decorative wrought iron style scrollwork and primed black (undercoat) ready to be painted to the colour of your choice before installation. The gate is supplied as standard with adjustable hinges to aid levelling during installation, a tip latch, and a wall-mounted receiver plate for easy fitting to various surfaces, including brickwork, metal, or timber posts.

• Attractive archtop and decorative 10mm x 3mm wrought iron style scrolls

• Strong and durable 20mm x 8mm welded metal frames.

• Supplied complete with adjustable hinges and a universal latch.

• Suitable for hanging left or right-handed.

• Ideal for fixing to existing brickwork or can be hinged off metal posts where required.

• Primed black (undercoat).

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the distance between the walls or the existing posts. You will then need to order a width based on this dimension. You don't need to make any more adjustments because the "fits opening" dimension in the drop-down selection already includes the space needed for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The ""fitted height"" includes an allowance of 50mm (2"") for ground clearance. This measurement is from ground level to the top of the arch. You should also be aware that because of the shape of the arch, the heights will vary slightly according to the width you order.

Example

If the gap size between walls or existing posts is 760mm, you will need to purchase a gate that "fits opening" 760mm (2ft 6").

Do You Need Metal Gate Posts?

If you need to install metal posts because there isn't a proper support structure available, keep in mind that you'll need more room for these items.

Example – A gate to fit an opening of 760mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 860mm.
