Constructed using 25mm x 25mm welded box section metal frames,16mm tube infill bars and 10mm x 3mm decorative wrought iron style scrolls. Supplied complete with easy to install surface mounted adjustable hinges which are suitable for mounting to any adequate support structure, the gates also include a simple to operate latch mechanism and in ground drop bolt. Primed black (undercoat), it is important to note that the Marlborough double gates will need to be painted prior to installation to ensure proper levels of protection against rust and corrosion is achieved.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: The "fits opening" dimension shown in the drop-down menu already includes the space necessary for the hinges and latch. To establish the size you need to order simply measure the gap between your existing brickwork or supports and this will be the size you need to order. No other calculations are necessary.

• Height: The “height once fitted” measurement makes an allowance of 50mm (2”) for ground clearance. This dimension is measured from ground level to the top of the horizontal framework. The top scrolls above the uppermost horizontal frame are not included within this measurement.

Ordering Example

If the gap size between walls measures 12ft you should order the gates to “fit opening 12ft”.

Do you Need to Order Metal Posts?

If the gates are to be freestanding away from any masonry support structure, then you will need to purchase appropriate sizes metal posts. Please note that in these instances you will need to factor in the additional space taken up by these items.

Example – Gates to fit an opening of 2740mm combined with 2 x 100mm posts will require a total overall space of 2940mm.
