Ordering Sizes

• Width: To determine the ordering size, measure the width of the opening between brickwork or supports. Make no further calculations as our "fits opening" width in the drop-down menu already incorporates the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "Height (once installed)" is measured from the ground to the top of the horizontal frame. This dimension already includes an allowance of 50mm (2”) for ground clearance. The top scroll is not included within this measurement.

Example

If the brickwork opening size measures 760mm you should order a gate to “fit opening 760mm”.

Do You Require Posts? 

When metal posts are required to install the gate (due to a lack of appropriate masonry or support structure), you'll need to ensure there's enough space available for these components.

Example – A gate to fit an opening of 760mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 860mm.
