The Winchester Arched Wrought Iron Style Metal Garden Gate is available to buy online in sizes to suit many standard opening widths. It is suitable for residential openings such as paths, side entrances or any other access point that would benefit from security and restricted access. The gate is handmade in the UK to a high standard. It features an arch top and decorative wrought iron style scrolls for a traditional appearance at a very affordable price. It is primed black with an undercoat and is ready for painting to the colour of your choice before installation. Also included with the Winchester gate are surface-mounted hinges, tip latch, and receiver plate for easy installation to various masonry surfaces or metal and timber posts.

• Manufactured in the UK.

• 20mm x 8mm solid flat bar metal frames, 10mm round infill bars and 10mm x 3mm wrought iron style scrolls.

• Supplied with adjustable hinges and a universal latch.

• Suitable for left or right-hand hanging.

• Primed Black (undercoat).

• 1220mm (4ft)

Ordering Sizes

• Width: Measure the gap between walls or existing posts to establish the size of the opening. This dimension will be the size you need to order as the "fits opening" size shown in the menu already includes the space required for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "fitted height" includes an allowance of 50mm (2") for ground clearance. This is measured from ground level to the top of the arch.

Example

If the size of your opening between walls is 3ft 6", you will need to order a gate that "fits opening" 3ft 6".

Are Metal Posts Required? 

For installations with no suitable pre-existing support structure present, you will need to install metal posts; however, please remember that you will require additional space for these items.

Example – A garden gate to fit an opening of 3ft 6" combined with 2 x 2" posts will need an overall space of 3ft 10".
