Available to buy online in a choice of common sizes, the gate is primed black (undercoat) ready for painting prior to installation and includes the hinges and latch fittings as standard.

Ordering Sizes

• Width: To determine the ordering width, measure the distance between the brickwork or existing posts. Do not make any other calculations as our "fits opening" dimension shown in the drop-down box already factors in the space needed for the hinges and latch.

• Height: The "Height (once installed)" is measured from the ground to the top of the arch. This measurement already includes 50mm (2”) for ground clearance.

Example

If the distance between existing posts or brick walls measures 760mm you should order a gate to “fit opening 760mm”.

Do You Neeed Posts? 

When metal posts are required to install the gate (due to a lack of suitable masonry or support structure), you'll need to ensure that there is adequate space available for these items.

Example – A gate to fit an opening of 760mm combined with 2 x 50mm posts will need an overall space of 860mm.
